This honeysuckle grows long, trumpet-shaped, vivid scarlet flowers from July to September, followed in hot summers by small red berries.

 

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Best in partial shade but tolerant of full sun.

 

Can be planted as fence cover or arbor cover, also as a groundcover.
