Short-leaved Aloe (Aloe brevifolia) is a compact succulent with densely arranged short leaves edged with white sharp teeth. The leaves are bright green and may turn slightly reddish under sunlight, adding charm to the plant. It forms dense clumps up to 20 cm tall, making it ideal for pots, rockeries, or terraces.

The plant prefers sunny to partially shaded locations and well-draining, light soil. Aloe brevifolia is drought tolerant and should be watered moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between watering. In winter, protect from frost and excess moisture. Besides its decorative value, it purifies indoor air and is easy to grow, even for beginners.
